AYURVEDA PRACTITIONER – YOGA TEACHER – MASSAGE THERAPIST
Passionate about yoga and meditation for almost 20 years, these disciplines have awakened in me a profound quest to understand life and health.
My initial training as a yoga teacher in 2014 was just the first step on a transformative journey to the sources of ancient wisdom. I first enriched my approach to the human body with Thai Yoga Massage in Thailand. My path then led me naturally to Ayurvedic Medicine, which provided clear answers to my questions about health and nutrition, after I had explored in vain certain ‘healthy’ trends.
My Ayurvedic journey, which began in India, deepened and crystallised in Switzerland and France at the European Institute of Vedic Studies, where I continued my studies with a view to being recognised by the Swiss complementary health insurance scheme (ASCA & RME).
I’m keen to share my experience with you as you embark on your own journey towards balance and health .

Joan Pascual Fontarnau
YOGA TEACHER – SKI INSTRUCTOR – MASSAGE THERAPIST
With over 25 years’ experience in healing therapies and sports teaching, I bring a wealth of expertise and a calm presence to the sessions and classes I offer.
My journey began at an early age, driven by a passion for the mountains and the ocean, skiing and surfing. I have been a certified ski instructor and member of the I.S.I.A. since 1998. I have been based in Gstaad since 2012, where I offer my services as a private ski and snowboard instructor, as well as a guide for snowshoe trekking and ski touring.
I trained in massage in Barcelona back in 1988, and have built up my expertise with renowned mentors such as osteopath Jean Louis Jacket and Pichest Boonthumme, a master of Thai massage. Passionate about yoga, I trained with A.G. Mohan, a disciple of Sri T. Krishnamacharya, as well as with his wife Indra and their son Ganesh Mohan.
My holistic approach combines my life experiences with studies in metaphysics with David Topi, active dreaming with Robert Moss and trauma work with Merete Brantbjerg. Today, I share yoga under the umbrella of Svastha Yoga, to which I add a somatic dimension.
